Transferring to SBGE
Will my courses transfer?
Many courses from community colleges and other four-year schools will transfer to Seattle Pacific University. In order to discover which courses will transfer and how, please refer to our Transfer Equivalency Guide.

How long will it take to complete my degree?
Most transfer students can finish their bachelor's degree in 1-2 years depending on how many courses they transfer to SPU. You can view degree requirements and map out your courses by utilizing our Course Planning Resources.
How do I apply to my major?
The major application window for all SBGE majors (except International Sustainable Development, PPE, and Political Science) is only open December 20 – January 20 each year. This is due to the fact that several of our programs are highly competitive and space is limited. Whether you transfer to SPU in Autumn, Winter, or Spring Quarter, all students will apply for their major during this application window. Find out more about SBGE's major application process.
