How donor gifts are making an impact

SPU student Eloise

SPU scholarships help students reach their goals

Growing up in the church and serving on mission trips helped Eloisa, Class of 2024, develop a heart for service. As an SPU student, she volunteers at a food bank and tutors students as a teaching assistant. A physiology major, she has a goal of attending medical school after graduation.

Eloisa knows her time at Seattle Pacific is possible because of the generous scholarship support she receives and the investment it represents in her life and future “My scholarship helps show me that people have faith in what I’m trying to do, and it also helps give me confidence that SPU was the right choice,” she said. “It’s hard going through such an academically challenging major. My scholarships show me that the dreams I have are attainable because others believe in me as well.”

A Giving Day 2024 thank you!

Each April, Seattle Pacific donors join us for our annual Giving Day — a 24-hour online fundraising event to raise support for the SPU areas they love. This year, on April 3, more than 850 Seattle Pacific University supporters came together to make a difference for SPU students with hundreds of generous gifts!

Supporters like you chose from over 30 areas of campus to support during a 24-hour period, with donations surpassing $235,000! And donations unlocked several challenges — creating and even larger impact in areas such as Athletics, spiritual formation, academic programs, and more.
