We're so proud of these SPU sophomores! On Tuesday, October 25, 5-9:30 p.m. at McCaw Hall in Seattle, they'll compete in the final round of the Social Venture Partners Fast Pitch Competition.
Competing against teams from across Washington state, this team — led by Annie Roethe, and including Garrhett Petrea, Paige Shivel, Luke Postma, and Lindsey Stover — will pitch "SafeCase," a phone case that can detect date-rape drugs, giving women the ability to discreetly test drinks to make sure they aren't drugged. http://www.socialventurepartners.org/seattle/ (photo by John Godek)
