Sharleen, and Dean Kato with President Samuel Chang.

Seattle Pacific University is making it easier for international students to study on campus, and for current students to study abroad.

SPU recently signed memorandums of understanding with several Asian universities and education organizations to explore academic partnerships for students, as well as opportunities for collaborative teaching activities with faculty and postgraduate research internships with international scholars.

The recently signed memorandums are with:

MingDao University (Taiwan)

Chung Yuan Christian University (Taiwan)

Japan Study Abroad Foundation (Japan)

National Taipei University of Education (Taiwan)

Seattle Pacific currently enrolls approximately 150 undergraduate students and 50 graduate students from 52 countries. This year, the university launched the Office of Global Engagement to not only serve its international students, but to better connect to international communities and seek academic exchange opportunities.
