Orchestra

Symphony Ensemble

Orchestra is a select ensemble of strings that performs works from the extensive orchestral literature. Orchestra performs on campus in concerts each quarter, as well as annually at the highly acclaimed Sacred Sounds of Christmas, an Advent and Christmas celebration in downtown Seattle.

Membership

Membership in Symphony Orchestra is by audition and is open to Music majors, Music minors, and nonmajors. Auditions are held at the beginning of Autumn Quarter (see notices posted in the lobby of Crawford Music Building prior to the beginning of the quarter). Interested members should email the director about audition requirements. A yearlong commitment is expected, and you may take the course an unlimited number of times.
