Songs and Dance

SPU’s Wind Symphony will perform their winter concert on Friday, February 25, at 7:30 p.m. in First Free Methodist Church. This select ensemble of wind and percussion players will perform "Academic Festival Overture" by Brahms, "Slavonic Dances No. 7 & 8" by Dvorak, "Four Scottish Dances" by Malcolm Arnold, and "Freedom," a collection of spiritual and Civil War songs. The symphony is conducted by music faculty member and well-known local conductor Gerry Jon Marsh.
