Sigma Phi Upsilon, the counseling honor society at SPU received a chapter development grant from Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), the international counseling honor society for students, professional counselors, and counselor educators. The SPU chapter will be recognized at the CSI awards ceremony, part of the American Counseling Association National Conference, on Friday, March 25, in New Orleans.
The grant request was peer reviewed and highly competitive. The author of the grant was Leslie Rondeau, a doctoral student in counselor education pursuing a school counseling certification.
