Flags at Half-Staff

Governor Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff on Thursday, February 2, in memory of U.S. Army Private First Class Neil I. Turner, 21, of Tacoma, Washington. Turner died January 11 in Afghanistan of injuries sustained from a training accident.

Other government entities, citizens, and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
