The SPU Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, in the First Free Methodist Church, adjacent to the SPU campus. The orchestra is directed by Professor of Music Eric Hanson. The repertoire includes Beethoven’s Triple Concerto (featuring the Spezzatura Trio, a professional piano trio comprised of SPU alumni), Wagner’s "Forest Murmurs" from the opera Siegfried, and Prelude and Allegro by Professor Hanson. Admission is free, and the church is wheelchair accessible.
