“Light It Up Blue”

Autism Awareness

SPU is participating in the "Light It Up Blue” campaign for World Autism Awareness Day on April 2. Demaray Hall's Clock Tower will be bathed in blue lights during the first few days in April, joining other iconic buildings around the world.

In addition, SPU’s School of Psychology, Family, and Community is hosting “Voices of Autism: Individuals, Families, and Professionals” on Saturday, April 11. The event features a Community Resource Fair, lectures from leading experts in the field of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and a panel discussion of older adolescents and young adults with ASD who will share their experiences, challenges, and perspectives of living with ASD.
