Seattle Pacific University junior Trey Miller has been selected to attend one of KPMG’s Global Advantage programs, an elite international leadership development opportunity which includes 120 student leaders from top universities across the United States and around the world. He is one of two students from Washington state to be accepted into the program, which offers participants the opportunity to develop into more accomplished leaders on campus and in their careers. The program will be held in Berlin, Germany, July 9-12.
Miller, from Woodinville, Washington, is studying accounting and finance at Seattle Pacific University and will minor in theology. He graduated in 2014 from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Washington, and is a transfer student at SPU from North Dakota State University where he played Division I basketball. He is now a forward on SPU men’s basketball team and a member of the Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at SPU. Miller says he is looking forward to networking with KPMG partners from across the globe and wants to aspire to SPU’s mission of "engaging the culture and changing the world."
Students are selected for Global Advantage based on their exceptional academic performance and for being recognized as leaders on campus, as well as in their communities. During this four-day program, KPMG partners and professionals will provide a real world, global perspective that will enable participants to enhance their skills through a situational leadership curriculum designed specifically for the program. The small classroom experience will make this global interactive program a one-of-a-kind experience.
