Black Student Union BBQ and Night of Beats

The Black Student Union will host its second annual BBQ on Friday, May 26, 3-5 p.m. in Martin Square. This BBQ is a time for community fellowship and a chance to take a break from the stresses of finals. There will be great food, music, and games. Following the BBQ will be the Night of Beats in Upper Gwinn, 6-10 p.m. Now in its 16th year, this event is a hip hop showcase sponsored by the student group Mosaic. It’s a celebration of culture through singing, rapping, DJing, dance, and spoken word. This event features SPU student artists as well as local artists.
