CPY 7031: Research Methods and Statistics I
Prerequisite: CPY 7020. Introduces students to the philosophy, structure, and ethics related to applied and experimental quantitative research. Focuses on research pertaining to evidence-based clinical practice and case study design in light of the local clinical scientist model. Statistical training focuses on analysis of variance techniques including factorial ANOVA, planned comparisions, post-hoc analysis and repeated measures. In small teams, students write and propose the introduction and method sections of the second year research project. Class format involves blended technology with online lectures preceding class meeting time.
