NUR 4012: Community and Family Health Nursing Theory |
Prerequisites: NUR 3956, 3957. Applies the nursing process to nursing's role in community-health assessment and diagnosis, program planning, implementation, and evaluation. Health policy issues will be explored related to health promotion and disease prevention. Family health is studied in the context of a diverse community. Theory and practicum courses are co-requisites; the minimum grade must be achieved in both courses. If the minimum grade in either course is not achieved, the student must repeat both courses. |
