LIN 4430: Sociolinguistics
Prerequisite: LIN 2100 or equivalent. Looks more closely at how language is influenced by context, including social, cultural, psychological, geographical, and political factors. This interdisciplinary course draws from sociology, anthropology, and linguistics.
