|PSY 4101: Adv Research Meth:Animal Behav|
|Prerequisites: PSY 1180, 3588, PSY 3700 or 3800. The objective of this course is to further students' knowledge of research methods in psychology by requiring students to conduct ethically sound research with nonhuman subjects. Students will draw from material learned in previous psychology classes, especially Psychological Research Methods, Introduction to Statistics, Learning and Behavior, and Cognitive Psychology to design, implement, and present unique empirical research under the supervision of a psychology faculty member. Students will obtain Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee approval for the original research conducted in this course.|
