MAT 2360: Introduction to Statistics for the Sciences
Prerequisite: MAT 0145 or Math Placement Level B. Introduction to the practice of statistics with applications to the sciences. Topics include graphical and numerical summaries of data, probability, estimation, hypothesis testing, linear regression, and one-way analysis of variance. Emphasis on applications, statistical reasoning, and data analysis using statistical software.
