BUS 4660: Managing Systems |
Prerequisite: BUS 3614. This management course is a problem-focused look at organizational systems. Building upon a systems-theory model we will explore the macro-level issues and dynamics of whole organizations. Topics will include organization structure, technology, culture, context, power and politics, effectiveness, innovation, learning, and change. This is an applications-oriented course, in which our analysis of companies will be informed by theory and grounded in practice. |
