William Nagy Nagy Receives Award for Vocabulary Research

Chris Sink Sink Departs School of Education after 21 Years of Service
This past spring Chris Sink, a longstanding faculty member in the School of Education counseling program, completed his final quarter at SPU before beginning a new position. Learn more.

Lindsay O’NealRecent PhD in education graduate Lindsay O’Neal was hired as the coordinator of standards-based instruction for Federal Way Public Schools. See how O’Neal has inspired students in her Federal Way High School classroom. 

Karen Soine2010 EdD alumna Karen Soine was recently hired as the assistant director of curriculum and instruction in the Renton School District.

2013 education graduate Kristi Suznevich was one of four teachers honored by the Highline School District for Teacher Appreciation Week earlier this year. Watch the teacher appreciation video made about Kristi and her students.

UG Student Teachers New UG Student Teachers Enjoy “First Days of School Debrief” at Camp Casey
This fall, students beginning the senior year of their undergraduate education programs were again able to visit Camp Casey on Whidbey Island with Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction Julie Antilla-Garza. Read more about their experience.
