SPU Study Abroad Photo Contest
Beyond being an exciting and memorable time, study abroad is an excellent way for students to increase intercultural sensitivity, gain global competence, build self-confidence, make connections in other parts of the world, and come back with unique and meaningful stories. Our annual photo contest encapsulates many of these moments.About the Contest
-
Submit photos that portray the essence of your study-abroad experience. We ask that the photos capture you and your classmates as you interact with local populations, partake in unique experiences, and make cultural observations. The photos also need to represent the ideals of study abroad: academic/experiential learning, cultural appreciation, international awareness, and fun (of course!).
Nature and Urban Landscapes
A natural landscape from your host country that makes the judge say, "send me there!", or an urban landscape that portrays the uniqueness of a city in your host country.
