The Work and Faith Collection

Seattle Pacific University's Library houses the Pete and Shirley Hammond InterVarsity Marketplace Collection, known as the Work and Faith Collection — an extensive assemblage of books and resources exploring topics of Christian faith and work, economics, business, and the professions.

A Rare Resource

The collection presently holds nearly 1,500 volumes, including rare and unique informational resources dating back to the early 1900s. It was endowed in 2009 to honor the lives of Peter and Shirley Hammond, who served as champions for the ministry-in-daily-life movement.
