  • Family Business Breakfast in review

    Jun 12, 2014

About 70 people, mostly owners or leaders of family businesses, attended the Family Business Breakfast at SPU on June 11. Alan Barnhart (president of Barnhart Crane & Rigging) and brother Eric believe their company belongs to God, and its innovative ownership structure reflects that belief. During a candid Q&A session, Alan explained some of how he thinks about leadership and lifestyle, and what it means to be generous.

CIB co-hosted the breakfast with the National Christian Foundation Seattle and in partnership with C3 Leaders.

Initiatives keep springing up at seminaries, business schools, and workplace ministries. It all appears to be led by God's spirit and not the effort of a single person or organization.
