In cooperation with Seattle Pacific Seminary and the Oikonomia Network, CIB and the Center for Biblical and Theological Education (CBTE) began a Community of Practice (CoP) in the fall of 2013. These monthly events gather business leaders, church leaders, and seminarians together to better understand work and economic activity as expressions of faith, channels of provision and blessing, and tools to advance God's kingdom.
Jeremiah Hinton is a Seattle Pacific Seminary student, a graduate assistant, and a freelance writer. His experience in the first CoP introduced him to business and church leaders, and to new ways of thinking about the intersection of work, faith, and business. Jeremiah's thoughtful and articulate reflections appear on Oikonomia Network's website.
