College of Arts and Sciences
In the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Seattle Pacific University, we offer undergraduate majors and minors in 15 disciplines, as well as a graduate certificate in Dietetics. As home to humanities, arts, and social and natural sciences, CAS provides students with a foundation of liberal learning and skills in reasoning, critical thinking, and communication.
Central to the mission of CAS is contributing to the formation of a mature Christian faith and the development of the whole person. As a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences, you are prepared for a life of continued learning and responsiveness to a changing world.
The College of Arts and Sciences offers students a choice of nearly 50 majors and 35 minors.

Over the last five years, SPU premed students have achieved an average acceptance rate into medical school of 90 percent — far exceeding the 39 percent national average.
