Please join the new SPU Faith and Science Club at their first meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in CREMONA 203! The club, led by president Andrea Belleville and vice-president Kate Voss, and advised by Dr. Cara Wall-Scheffler (Associate Professor of Biology), will tackle essential issues of faith and science. Other club officers include Peder Eickson (Financial Officer), Patrick Pappalardo (Secretary) and Gailynn Benjamin and Grace Andrews (Intellectual Contributors).
The first three meetings will focus on the following topics:
October 15: Genesis (speaker: Dr. Rob Wall)
October 29: Original Sin (panelists: Dr. Patrick McDonald, Dr. David Nienhuis, Dr. Daniel Castelo, Dr. JJ Johnson-Leese and Dr. Stamatis Vokos)
November 19: Christian Perspectives on Origins (panelists: Dr. Rod Stiling, Dr. Sarah Koenig and Dr. Jenny Tenlen)
