Education: BA in Music, Seattle Pacific University
Justin Cormier has practiced a life of music since childhood, beginning at age 8 with piano lessons. He took his first job as organist at Hope Lutheran Church in Enumclaw at age 13. Since then, he has served many churches on Sundays.
During his teenage years he played in bands such as Brandi Carlile, Riverbend, and the Outfit — with styles ranging from hard rock to hip hop. He has also studied audio engineering to record his musical adventures with three CD releases: “Glass Castle,” “Christmas With Friends,” and “Telekinesis.” Mr. Cormier currently sings in the Compline Choir at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle. Performing any chance he can get, you may just find him wielding an accordion downtown.
