Master of Arts in Management – Social and Sustainable Management (Expected Spring 2014 graduate)
One of MacKenzie Borgogni’s class papers expressed her keen interest in breaking the dichotomy between the “sacred” and the “secular” in church and in business. This led to the desire to live an integrated life where no distinctions existed between the value of her service in the church and the value of her service through business. Eventually, her interests brought her to the School of Business, Government, and Economics at SPU, where she has appreciated the integration of faith and business in the 11-month Master of Arts in Management with an emphasis in Social and Sustainable Management (MAM-SSM) program.
In addition to her personal alignment with SBGE’s “Another Way of Doing Business” philosophy, Borgogni was drawn to the graduate degree because of the study abroad trip to China and India, the intensive focus on real-world projects, and the built-in professional development activities. As she explores her future, she is excited to discover how she can apply her understanding of business in ways that serve human flourishing.
