Professional Certificates

The Professional Certificate is the advanced-level certificate for Washington state educators. SPU's Center for Professional Education offers a 4-credit ProTeach Support Seminar for teachers and a one-year Professional Certificate program for administrators. Our professional certification programs are designed around self-assessment, planning, and performance demonstration and are founded on two key components: reflection and collaboration.

ProTeach Support Seminar
As a Washington state teacher, you must earn a Professional Certificate prior to the expiration of your residency certificate. SPU's Center for Professional Education offers the ProTeach Support Seminar to help you prepare for your portfolio assessment. Learn more
