School of Education Scholarship Application Now Open

Graduate students in the School of Education are encouraged to apply for an annual scholarship offered through the School of Education. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and commitment to the School of Education's mission. Graduate students may apply for the Kingswood Scholarship for Christian educators, the Martinez Fellows Scholarship for students of color who wish to teach in public schools, or the Ethnic Diversity Scholarship. All students apply for scholarships via one application.

The application deadline for the Kingswood and Ethnic Diversity scholarships is June 15, 2013.

To be eligible for the Kingswood Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.
1. Be admitted to a graduate degree or certification program.
2. Be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits) each quarter.
3. Maintain all graduate student requirements for continuation in the program.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
5. Be employed half-time or more in a state-approved Christian elementary or secondary school.

To be eligible for the Ethnic Diversity Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria.
1. Be admitted to a graduate degree or certification program.
2. Be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits) each quarter.
3. Maintain all graduate student requirements for continuation in the program.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
5. Belong to an under-represented ethnic minority group.
