Local church leaders, alumni, Lectio readers, and anyone else interested in learning more about the New Testament book of James: Don’t miss an opportunity to spend a day exploring the book of James with SPU’s Associate Professor of New Testament Dr. Dave Nienhuis.

The online James Lectio series begins August 12, 2013, and anyone interested in teaching from, preaching from, or studying James alone or in a small group would benefit from participating in this seminar.

An engaging New Testament scholar, Dr. Nienhuis is the author of Not by Paul Alone: The Formation of the Catholic Epistle Collection and the Christian Canon (Baylor University Press, 2007), and co-author with Dr. Rob Wall of Reading the Epistles of James, Peter, John & Jude as Scripture: The Shaping and Shape of a Canonical Collection (Eerdmans, Nov. 2013).
