2011 SPS Alumna Julie Glavic Publishes Master's Thesis
Julie Glavic, who earned an MA in Theology: Christian Scripture Emphasis in 2011, has had her master’s thesis accepted for publication by the Bulletin for Biblical Research. Titled “Eutychus in Acts and in the Church: The Narrative Significance of Acts 20:6–12," Glavic's thesis addresses the curious narrative of the young man who late one night falls asleep listening to Paul speak, falls out of a third-story window, dies, and is revived by Paul.
Reviewers have commented on the quality of Glavic’s thesis, expressing confidence that it will make a contribution to Acts criticism of “a neglected and challenging passage.”
