Degrees
Seattle Pacific Seminary offers a variety of degree programs that provide many different options for your study of theology. All Seminary programs support SPU’s vision to engage the culture and change the world with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.
Master of Arts (MA) in Theology
This degree with five tracks (Christian Scripture, Christian Studies, Student Ministry and Culture, Business and Applied Theology, and Reconciliation and Intercultural Studies) lets you combine a core study of general theology with specialized study in a particular subject area.
Master of Divinity (MDiv)
This degree prepares you for ordained ministry and for general pastoral leadership in congregations and other settings. It is also the recommended first degree if you plan to pursue admission to doctoral programs in theology.
Dual Degrees (MBA, MFT)
In partnership with SPU’s School of Business and Economics and School of Psychology, Family, and Community, we offer four dual degree programs that enable you to earn two advanced degrees in less time than it would take you to earn the same two degrees separately.
Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies
This certificate program equips you with an understanding of Christian formation and vocation, and the practices that nurture an ongoing life of discipleship and mission in the 21st century.
