Computer and Information Systems oversees Seattle Pacific University’s software systems, servers, network, and telecommunications. CIS also provides technology-related support for SPU faculty, staff, and students.

New Faculty and Staff
We want to make sure you’re prepared for your first day on campus — including accessing the Banner Information System and your SPU email account.
As a new SPU employee, you will have a computer provided by your department. Work with your department’s administrative assistant or budget manager to get the computer and other departmental permissions you need.

CIS News and Alerts
Campus closure: Dec. 24–Jan. 4
HelpDesk and CIS will close at noon on Thursday, December 24, and remain closed until 7:30 a.m. on Monday, January 4. In case of a campuswide emergency, contact Safety and Security at 206-281-2922. On-call CIS staff will be notified.
Weekly scheduled downtimes
Routine server maintenance is scheduled for 4–7 a.m. (PST) on Wednesdays.

- Mon–Fri, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Except during finals, we also respond to phone calls and emails:
- Mon–Thu, 5–9 p.m.
- Sat, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
