Scholarship

In response to the legacy and leadership of John M. and Vera Mae Perkins — and the mission of Seattle Pacific University to educate students holistically in justice, reconciliation, and community development — the John Perkins Center at SPU directs urban and global student engagement programs and leads a University-based, interdisciplinary research institute.

Our mission is to act as a catalyst for the intellectual and practical advancement of reconciliation, justice, and community development through our student engagement programs and research institute.
