Orientation 2016

Orientation Home 2016

Orientation 2016 will run from Wednesday through Sunday, September 21–25.

Check-in and Move-in

Students living on campus are assigned check-in/move-in times between 1 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21. Off-campus students check in on Wednesday, September 21, or the morning of Thursday, September 22, before the program begins.

Parents and guests are invited to join us for the check-in/move-in process and then for programming on Thursday, September 22.  Student programming will run Thursday through Sunday, September 22–25.

Transfer Express, a condensed orientation for transfer students who cannot attend the full orientation program, will be held on Sunday, September 25, 3–5:30 p.m., in Upper Gwinn. After the program concludes, students and guests are invited to attend Big Party, a free dinner and community event hosted by the Student Union Board (STUB), and Involve-O-Rama, where students can learn more about clubs and activities on campus.

All students and parents/guests must register for Orientation 2016. Students are able to register via Banner (similar to the New Student Advising registration process). During the Orientation registration, students will list parent/guest names and their email addresses. Parents and guests will then automatically receive an email inviting them to register as well.
