Meranda Clausen grew up in Aloha, Oregon, before graduating from SPU in June of 2015. She earned a degree in communication with a minor in women’s studies.
While a student at SPU, Meranda participated in the Student Homecoming Planning Committee; was a resident advisor for two years and a summer in Moyer and Hill residence halls, and in the Davis Apartments. She interned in the Office of Residence Life and was a part of the 2015 Senior Gift Committee, which brought the Van Duzen Bell to campus for Ivy Cutting. Upon graduating, Meranda began a post-grad internship with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, coordinating Orientation for incoming undergraduate students.
Meranda has a deep appreciation for the many donors who give to SPU in order for more students to be able to attend SPU and go out and make a difference in the world. She is excited to be working to engage students and GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni in the SPU community!
