Classics

Programs offered
  • Classics (major and minor)

When you major or minor in Classics in SPU’s Department of Languages, Cultures, and Linguistics, you will be provided with preparation for any of the liberal arts, as well as enrichment for personal satisfaction. If you are interested in pre-law, pre-medicine, pre-seminary, education, or any of the sciences, or if you are a Business major aspiring to management, you are encouraged to consider the Classics offerings as electives. The relatively small size of this major also lends itself well to pursuing a double major.
