Thank a Donor - Tuition Freedom Day

April 18, 2012 is the 114th day of 150 class days this school year. That's 76% of the way through the academic year, which is how much of SPU's operating costs are covered by your tuition. Essentially from April 18 to June 8, your tuition is being paid by someone else. On April 18, our campus will celebrate Tuition Freedom Day to thank those donors who help make up much of the difference between tuition and the rest of the money needed to operate SPU each year. Stop by Gwinn and write a thank you note.

About Give More

College is expensive – and you know it! 95% of us have received financial assistance that makes it possible for us to receive a solid education from Seattle Pacific. Support comes from donors you don’t even know – donors who Give because they recognize what SPU provides for students like you. Don’t you love that? Help someone else live this experience too. Your support of the Give More campaign makes it possible.

All gifts will go directly to student scholarships.

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship(s) will be awarded to a student from the current junior class and pay out over the course of his or her senior year. Selection will be based on three criteria - community involvement at SPU, academic merit, and demonstrated financial need. Selection and distribution will be through SFS. Award(s) will be made at Ivy Cutting on June 8, 2012.
