The Women’s Studies Program was sponsored by SERVE, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Theology. As an institution that centers its mission in the historical Christian faith, Seattle Pacific University affirms that women are created in the image of God, redeemed by Christ and called to lives of scholarship, leadership and service. The Women’s Studies Program sponsored an annual campus event, supported the Sophia Club—which works to highlight women’s issues within the Christian faith, developed library resources, and sponsored a Women’s Studies Spring Celebration.
