SPU IEEE Branch wins First Place in Ethics Contest

SPU's IEEE officers attended a Region 6 (western states, Alaska, Hawaii) meeting in Portland, Oregon on October 17th where they won first place in a competition for applying the IEEE Code of Ethics.

Available to incoming freshmen who plan to major in an engineering discipline at SPU.

  • Deffenbaugh/Burwell freshman engineering scholarships ($5,000 – freshman year only)

For Incoming Transfer Students

Available to incoming transfer students who have completed an AA or AS degree and plan to major in electrical engineering at SPU.


For Continuing Engineering Students

Available to current SPU students majoring in an engineering discipline at SPU.

  • Sophomore Engineering Scholarship (Apply in winter of freshman year)
  • Junior Engineering Scholarship (Apply in winter of sophomore year)
  • Bauman Scholar Engineering Excellence Scholarship (For EE's only – Apply in winter of junior year)
