Christianity and Literature Student Writing Contest

An annual competition for undergraduate authors of poetry, fiction, and nonfictional prose sponsored by the Conference on Christianity and Literature (won in 1998 by Sara Mike and in 2000 by Marcia Butchart, both SPU English majors!).

Norton Scholar's Prize Essay Contest

An annual competition for undergraduate literature students sponsored by one of the nation's leading publishing houses.

National Undergraduate Literature Conference (NULC)

Held each spring on the campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, featuring scholarly essays and creative writing by undergraduates from around the country.
