Five Career Moves Students Can Undertake This Summer
Students can make their remaining summer break really count by:
- Networking - Students can use their free time to conduct informational interviews.
- Volunteering with an organization related to their interests.
- Creating a professional profile on LinkedIn and updating their online presence.
- Updating their résumé.
- Visiting the Center for Career and Calling: Open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Follow Lectio: Guided Bible Reading This Autumn
Beginning September 24, Assistant Professor of Old Testament Bo Lim can guide you through the Book of Isaiah, sharing a wealth of knowledge and wisdom about how to navigate the biblical text. In the meantime, you can still follow along with Professor of Christian Ministry, Theology and Culture Jeff Keuss as he presents selections from the prophets. Dean's List Honors Academic Accomplishments
Quarterly honors are awarded to those undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students in good standing who have completed at least 12 credit hours at Seattle Pacific and attained a 3.5 or higher grade-point average in a given quarter. Check the dean's list site to see if your student gained academic honors the last academic year.

Transportation to SPU for Welcome Week
For a fee of $10, SPU offers transportation to campus for students traveling alone and arriving to Seattle by train, bus, or plane on Thursday, September 20 for Welcome Week. Please make travel arrangements so as to arrive in Seattle between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. The deadline to schedule is September 5. To schedule a pickup, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
