Tuscan Table At the Tuscan Table
More than a dozen SPU students traveled to Italy this year, soaking up la dolce vita in Florence. The first-ever participants in a new study abroad program that focuses on sustainable food production, the students filled their days with classes, cooking workshops, language study, and excursions into the countryside.

Amber Frazier From Student to Teacher
As a high school student, Amber Frazier appreciated the role models she found in her teachers, in part because they were ethnically diverse. "All of my high school teachers were minority teachers," says Frazier, who grew up in Carson, California, and earned her Master in Teaching Mathematics and Science in 2014. Now Frazier is hoping to become the kind of role model she had as a student.
