Student Leaders: Latreia
What is Latreia?
Latreia is a resource for SPU students interested in serving in Seattle. It is great for SPU students seeking to connect with other students with similar interests.
We help match students' passions, focus of study, or general interests with local agencies looking for volunteers. Service opportunities may be one-time projects or long-term experiences. Projects are in the greater Seattle area.
Latreia's Seattle Story: Jan. 27-28
Latreia is hosting a two day service immersion experience focused on Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. This will be an extended service day to learn more about Seattle's UGM and the ways in wich they serve within the Seattle community. Friday we will hear more about UGM and be introduced to the Serve Seattle team. Students will stay overnight at UGM's Serve Seattle house. Saturday students will serve with one of the UGM programs.
The next service day is March 4. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
