63-68* credits, plus a minor


Students must complete approved courses in each of the general education and foundations categories listed below.  Credits required in each discipline are listed following the discipline title.

*With rare exception, students enter the Professional Studies Program with 90 credits and junior standing, and are required to complete only 10 credits in University Foundations--UFDN 3001 and UFDN 3100.

Minors for Professional Studies

Any minor offered by SPU may be completed toward the Professional Studies Program. Most minors require 30 credits of coursework, including at least 15 upper-division credits. The following minor may be completed in an online/evening flex format:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Learn the latest methods of solving engineering problems for a creative, productive career in today's rapidly changing technical environment. (Classes for a minor in electrical engineering are offered during the day and in an online/evening flex format).
