How to Apply
Students must be admitted to the University before applying for housing. At least one occupant of the residence must be enrolled at SPU for a minimum of nine undergraduate or six graduate credits each quarter of residency, excluding summer. Occupancy is limited to the registered student, his or her spouse, and/or dependent children under the age of 18 (24 if attending college full-time).
You must do two
things to be placed on our waiting list:
- Submit an Application
Download the application (PDF), or call Housing
Services at 206-281-2188 to request that an application be sent
to you.
- Submit an Initial Housing Deposit
You must submit a $100 check
along with your application.
Please make the check payable to Seattle Pacific University and
write your SPU ID number on the check. The $100 will be applied
to your $300 housing deposit when you sign a lease. If you cancel your application prior to signing a lease, the $100 will be refunded to you.

If Canceling an Application
To cancel an application, please send a written notice via
email to housing@spu.edu, fax to 206-281-2026, or mail
to the address above.
