| The focus of this course is to introduce the workings of the basic music technology "food groups" available to music educators and how to use these as a curriculum in the classroom by learning and developing lesson plans for them. The food groups will consist of: Notation software (Sibelius, Finale), Digital Audio/Sequencing (hardware recorders, mic techniques, Pro Tools), Music Theory/Ear Training (Alfred Essentials of Music Theory, Music Ac, Ear Master, Auralia, and others), Music Improvisation (Band in a Box). All course work conforms to the K-12 National Standards.
