PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS


SPU’s MFT degree prepares individuals for supervised clinical practice in mental health organizations, educational settings, and private psychotherapy. Other professional opportunities include educator, consultant, mediator, administrator, and medical family therapist. Marriage and Family Therapy program graduates work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Students become skilled in providing professional assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of family and individual issues.
