Welcome to the 2011 Northwest branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology

Welcome back for the second year of the new annual Northwest Branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology! This years conference is hosted at the University of Washington. The conference opens Friday evening, 18 November 2011, with an address by Dr. Peggy Cotter from the University of North Carolina and Dr. David Stahl from the University of Washington followed by an open bar reception. We will reconvene Saturday morning in two separate sessions, one focused on general microbiology and the other on clinical microbiology. We will close the conference Saturday evening with a poster session an hors d'ouevres. This is a great opportunity for your students to present at a local meeting - undergraduate students are eligible for free registration. Please take a moment to register and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you in November!
