Welcome to the 2012 Northwest branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology

Welcome to the website of the Northwest Branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology. This years conference will take place the 9-10th of November on the campus of the University of Washington.

The conference opens Friday evening, 9 November 2012, in Foege auditorium with this years Keynote address by Dr. Nancy Freitag from the University of Illinois. We will reconvene Saturday morning at the South Campus Center in two separate sessions, one focused on general microbiology and the other on clinical microbiology.

We will close the conference Saturday evening with a poster session and hors d'ouevres. This is a great opportunity to network with colleagues and for your students to present at a local meeting - undergraduate students are eligible for free registration.

Please register early to help us with our planning! Join us at our new Facebook site for updates and to meet other members.

We look forward to seeing you in November!
